2020 Kia Telluride

The Telluride is named after Telluride in Colorado, and is aimed to be a ski lodge on wheels. The Telluride originally introduced at the 2016 North American International Auto Show and has been making constant strides since.

The Telluride aims to be a luxurious SUV that can hold up to eight people with third row reclines to accommodate three people. A seven-seat version with captain’s chairs in the second row will be available. The Telluride goes on sale in May 2019.

Features

The Telluride uses a single engine and transmission with a 3.8-liter V-6 shared with the Palisade that sends 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque through an 8 speed automatic.

A self-leveling rear air suspension is optional along with plenty of driver assists will be optional. This includes sensors that detect if anything from pets to children are left behind in the back rows. A lockout feature for the rear doors in case a fast-moving object too close is also available.

Interior and Trims

The Telluride has three level of trims: the standard base S, the mid level EX, and top of the line SX level. The latter will offer a "Prestige Package," which is a fully loaded all-wheel drive option. It also competes take on its fellow American-built rivals in the large size crossover SUV segment We have interior features like Nappa leather upholstery and reclining third-row seats aim to give the Telluride a luxurious feel.

The big SUV is also available with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system (compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), 630-watt, 10-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system (with a “quiet mode” that cuts output in the second and third rows), a head-up display, and six USB ports (five are standard).
